HOLLY JOLLY DETAILS // JORDAN EDENS PHOTOGRAPHY
There are so many amazing pieces that you can incorporate into your wedding day! This edition of #Weddingwednesday I am going to talk about your bridal details and what I love to see when I am photographing them!
Shoes, jewelry, veil, perfume, and stationery are typically the staples when I photograph details. I love it when brides want to incorporate heirloom pieces, borrowed and blue details, or special souvenirs that have been collected throughout the relationship. You’ll be wearing a good number of these detail items in all of your photos, but take time to have them captured them before the festivities so you can treasure each piece that you carefully chose for your wedding day!
Wedding gown on a pretty hanger (Those plastic ones just don’t do your gown justice)
Jewelry - A necklace that your groom bought you? A string of pearls passed down from your grandma? I love the story behind these pieces!
Veil or hair pieces
Bouquet and loose flower stems for arranging
Ring boxes - We love a fancy ring box!
Do you have a special tray or display board that you would like incorporated?
Heirloom pieces: broach/handkerchief/necklace/miniature photo or other piece in memory of a loved one. I have also had brides display lace from their mother or grandmother’s wedding dress. These pieces definitely qualify as your something old and bring family significance to your day.
Souvenirs from your relationship: Love notes, gifts, or other small details from your relationship also make great additions to your details collection!
Groom’s details: Shoes, socks, watch, belt, cologne, boutonniere
