"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go." Oh the places you'll go.
I don't think it's a mystery that photographers, creatives, and artists alike have an explosive desire to travel. Creation, nature, and the beauty left by those who have gone before draws out and enhances creativity. I have had the privilege of travel, the beginning fire in my soul fueling what I hope brings a lifetime of wanderlust. Growing up in the great state of Washington, beauty was in my backyard. As a college Sophomore, I traveled with my photography class to New York to take the city. Our exploits took us all around the city and gave me a great love for the concrete jungle. My Junior year of college led me to Guatemala in service to a camp full of the most beautiful children bound to wheel chairs. Travel in Guatemala brought culture, and the most vibrant color to my experience. In my senior year of college I spent the semester interning in the beautiful Chicago. Living and working in the city, I captured sunrise to sunset and every beautiful building in between. My travel portfolio is speckled with midwest, and west and a yearning to see more.
